I spent 30 mins today cleaning the rust off the front cylinder down pipe, using wire wool; what do folk use to keep theirs free from rust, if anything?

Those pipes look great, mine seem to be more of a rusty old brick colour despite continous cleaning, but then MINES SEES THE RAIN!

OK, so they've not seen the rain THIS YEAR but then again they haven't been touched since I did my last track day at Oulton in november. That was in a friggin monsoon!! It got slung in the garage still dripping and was only cleaned just before the MoT
