Naw I use that finger to make sure I don't put the pistons in backwards.....

The new oil pump finally arrived so got a little bit done today. Fitted the flywheel cover and oil pan (after installing the pump ) and cleaned the header and mounted it along with the starter.

Which leaves installing the clutch and all those bits, so I can mount that cover and then figure out where to mount the oil cooler.

At least you have the new oil pump now Mike

It looks great with it all being so spotlessly clean

Well it has been a little while so time for an update..... Decided to run a Mocal 7 row oil cooler so got it fitted and then built some braided SS lines for it.
Also have a few more bits fitted



and the send and return lines





and with the rads fitted:




Now waiting on the proper coolant hose kit....can't use the RC51 kit I was sent...

That's looking fantastic. The oil cooler and braided lines are very neat
