Hello. First post from Melbourne. Been reading the forums for a while now and finally got a 2000 vtr1000. Brilliant bike for what I paid for it. Look forward to putting up many miles on this beast. No mods planned for this apart from a cct mod. 1st big twin I’ve owned coming from inline 4’s

Welcome.
Take a look at some common trouble issues. ACCTs, Charging system, sticking turn signal, horn, starter buttons and general maintenance stuff and have fun getting to know the bike.

Got the rwc on Friday so I can transfer to my name. Fired it up out the front of the shop and set of a car alarm
