Tyre size

Hello All

Can someone confirm the correct tyre size for the rear tyre on a 2000 Firestorm. I have checked around and all say 180/55 but I have just bought one witha 160 on the back...

yep 180/55 is the correct size for the VTR.

Had an RZ250R that had 90/90 front and rear, that was awfull, soon got a 110/80 on the back it was much better.

Seems ok at the mo (probably coz its new) but I'll see the difference when i change the tyre next month!

Ehhh... huh!???? A 160!? If you're changing the tyre to a 180 you'll need a new wheel too.

Well if the rim is for a 160 and you try and squeeze a 180 onto it...
