no the ape will be sold, I'll return it to stock, hopefully it will be easier in std trim, plus I'll sell off the bits and pieces I fitted to it separately.

here she is,

collected it yesterday, '09 RC8 R, 17000 miles, full akra race system, with corresponding KTM power parts map, a few little jobs to do, firstly get rid of that black screen I think a very light tint would look better and be functional. It's supposed to have been recently serviced but good check over and fresh oil should have it ready for summer.

you like a bike that will randomly fail to start .... Normans RC8 was a pain in the butt on the 1st NI trip, so this should be business as usual for you

I do like the idea of one of those things. All the adjustment should suit you as well with your gammy leg.

Oh, and FFS, clean up that trials bike!

I always fancied those when they first came out, but there was a gearbox concern with the early ones which put me off a bit.

yeah they have quite a wide range of adjustment and is one of the reasons I opted for it I'm currently trying to work out how to adjust the seat height :? , I was looking seriously at a '16 Tuono factory similar to yours but bottled it when it came to finding the money...

Yummy!
I always fancied one of them too. It'l be great to see it (and hear it) in the flesh.
I nearly traded the SP in for one when it came out....but only nearly :D

I tested one for about a week when they first came out (1148cc version) and and quite enjoyed it. The ergos were the main thing, allowing you to make the bike comfortable for everyday riding. Hope it works out for you.
