my shed is way too small so im in the process of laying out for a new one. i have three bikes i'm currently working on, as and when parts turn up/funds allow. 20' x 10' is as big as i can go. is that a good size? if you have workshop pics around the same size it would give me some idea. ta

Can you go to 15 feet wide - it will give you more space either side

i'll have to enter into tentative discussions with the head gardener (wife) and explain the necessity of more maneuverability on health and safety grounds. i'm not holding my breath...

If it's just to park up and store a bike then 10' is plenty - if you plan to work on the bike in the shed it could be cramped. Though you could pull it out and push it back in depending on which side of the bike you need to access.

Get a tape measure and mark out the dimensions outside and cat to swing, or do a scale drawing of the shed inc the bike's dimensions on a sheet of paper.

unfortunately, or fortunately, i'm working on my phil read rep, honda britain and a 1966 yam 80 at the same time and it's quite a squeeze. i'll get to the point where i can spend a little on one bike, then do a bit on another as parts become available etc. i have wheeled trolleys for both hondas so i can push them up against one wall but i think a 10 by 20 will have to do. my day to day bike sits in the front shed

A man can never have too many garages, or bikes to put in them.

A garage is wasted on a car, they're waterproof anyway.

I'm lucky enough to have a 20' shipping container to use as storage and workshop.

Reasonably secure and enough space 👍

Added bonus is it can be camouflaged to blend in 😊
