I betrayed the ArseC

Just an introduction by way of a monologue.
I have been riding for nearly 40 years with the first one on the road being a Cagiva 125. My dad had a Triton and thought everything else was shite, my grandfather had had a Vincent and thought Tritons were shite etc etc. But the Vincent had that....sound. So started a life of Jap 4's as there were no Vtwins in the way I wanted, GS1000, 750 Gixer 7/11 zx750r and on and on.... then TL1000S.
How I laughed at the "girly" Firestorm as I would chug past them with the on and off fueling and then years later I realised that the VTR looked better, more cohesive, but still didn't buy. Forward to 2020, lockdown/work/money.
KTM flogged for bread and soup. I've got a Firestorm frame and swingarm and cbr900 triple tree and 995i forks and wheel. I'll get it built by Christmas... hopefully.

Hi, and welcome.

I buy mine ready built!

Sounds as if you'll be busy for 6 months. All the best with it!

welcome to the VTR .. I had a few of the bikes on that list on my way to getting away from the IL4 and to V2 enlightenment, now I have 2 V2s and 3 singles.

still don't understand the title! but I get easily confused these days

I've been struggling with it for three hours now. Even friggin' Googled it just in case it was some trendy acronym that's passed by me during my declining years!! :(

The reg plate on my SP2 spells "ARSY", but then, that has the model number RC51.

But I think it is more reflective of my general demeanour rather than the model number.....

Hello again and thanks for replies. Been working in a bad signal area in County Durham hence delay. Trying to attach some pics here and gave up after falling over TL1000 radiator that was measured up for use. ZZR something oil cooler and a 954 swingarm..... no I'm not that good at fabrication.
Will walk off now and try to attach something to show lack of progress.
PS. ArseC was an ungrateful Kraut that I squandered money on and rebuilt after a nasty chaffing incident on the A3 on the way into London.
PS. I found an old tuning fork that is apparently a Firestorm swingarm.
