As a new Firestorm owner, and recent arrival in County Antrim I was hoping to "pop down" to this event if possible. I'm not able to make promises in this regard as I've not yet ridden the bike, it'll also need taxing. I'm actually typing this on the Liverpool-Belfast crossing (just passing the Calf of Man) with a van full of the last house emptying trip, and my newly acquired VTR picked up en-route. Could someone let me have details of the venue? Reading earlier posts, no one has suggested getting to NI using the Liverpool boat, the easiest option in my opinion.

Hi, I've decided not to bother, I'm having to store the bike at the in-laws for the next couple of weeks. I'm having a garage built and things aren't exactly going to plan. I'm in Ballymoney, and checking G maps it's about 150 miles just to Newcastle and back, probably too much of a risk for a maiden voyage with auto CCT's? ;-) Hopefully I'll get out on her soon, just a few trips along the Antrim coast initially, between Portrush and Larne to get used to the bike.

holidays are coming, holidays are coming, holidays are coming,

at least 3 of the lads have started the trek today, then tomorrow morning Tony.Mon, PeteL and his brother and I will be setting off from my worcester to Holyhead to catch the ferry to Dublin.
looking at the heat for Friday in that area, we will need to increase our speed just to prevent spontaneous combustion (that what we will tell the welsh police anyway)

Bikes all packed, tyres kicked, visor cleaned ........... I cant wait :D :D :D :D

fabio, are you still going to be able to make it? do we know what others are planning to turn up and do they know where the meeting point is at Donards Carpark?

saturdays roads.that Enniskillen to Belleek run  that road was made by god himself. great craic with some great lads as always..

we only had to pull one KTM outa a hedge without damage really and i went grass tracking at one point on Dori otherwise a clean bill of health

Yeah, a great weekend, loads of superb roads.
Some of us carried on into the South, today we were in Dingle.
Tomorrow I'm back to Dublin with Alastair to get the ferry to Wales, then he goes home and I meet the wife near the Wales England border, bike on the back of our van and up to the outer Hebrides for a week until it's time to head for the Inn on the Loch for the Scotland run.
You can't get enough of a good thing, I say.

It was a cracker this year. But only 2 firestorms !!

Should call it the ktm / bmw / aprilia meeting!
4 ktms plus 1 husky (technically part of the ktm group)
3 bmws
1 ape
1 Ducati
1 Suzuki
1 little Honda adventure bike

Some spirited riding when 5 of us let loose out of Enniskillen.
