Hola, Greetings and Hello

Hi. I bought my vtr as a new bike, 1998… I was unable to ride for the last 20 years or so, until recently, so I decided to resurrect my machine. I’ve used this forum a bit and it’s got really ace info… over time I have experienced many of the issues covered in the welcome post…. Certainly the leading group… my motorbike is currently just been disassembled for a bunch of work…. Tuning, updates and maintenance.
I’ve put 31,000+ miles on the thing, including a bunch of trackdays, a million mountain passes and generally curvy roads.
So, there ya go…
Greetings,
Bayard

Welcome to the forum officially, sounds like you already know what you are doing with a VTR but glad you made the jump to joining in.

Looks like the sun is still out where you are! Haven't seen that yellow thing in the uk for a while

Thank y’all for the greetings.
Been a few great days listening to music and turning (and turning and turning) wrenches.
The old girl is back together and ready for a front suspension tuning ride tomorrow (new valving on the gold valve and new oil) and a solid ride on Christmas Day.
I will mention… I am continually amazed at the crazy puzzle the engineers at Honda created with this machine. There is so much stuff where the one way it comes off is a nutty dance with 20 other parts. I wager they award bonus money for the most crazy procedures.

Happy Holidays, cheers.

Do
Don't buy an SP1 or 2 then, they make Storms look positively roomy!
Beautifully packaged, though.
