Merry Christmas everyone, enjoy whatever you choose to do over the break.
I tested positive for covid this morning which has rather curtailed our plans!

Sorry to hear that, Kev, hopefully it is a light dose.
I'll be doing a bit more redecorating in the front room, hearth knocked out, skirting boards ripped out, a couple of new cables channelled into walls for new sockets, but we have to wait until mid Jan for the plasterer to start.
Dust everywhere!

Happy festivities to all!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

have a good 1 everybody.

Kev sorry to hear you are grounded, it messes up the family plans that for sure.

our girls were at a wedding last weekend and 1 by 1 their friends tested positive, so they didn't want to come to us and give covid to Paulas 90yr old mum..... but good news is that they all got OK PCR tests and jumped in the car to come and drink my beer, eat my food and mess up the house.!

so after too much drinking, I now just want peace and quite....... would it be wrong to fake a lateral flow test fail and say I will quarantine in the garage?

Thanks for the good wishes folks. Crazy thing is I felt rough last Sunday, only in as much as a normal cold, and tested negative. Tested again on Tuesday and got a negative result. Woke up Thursday feeling better than I had for a week and got ready to go to the gym, had a couple of texts from daughter & son in law saying they had tested positive so did another test and went positive instantaneously! If this is Omicron I’ve had worse colds previously, and feel great now. Just can’t go anywhere. Still plenty to do in the shed, garage, house until the Mrs locates me and uses/abuses my body, again! You have no idea what it’s like being a sex god
Actually she’s tested negative and is keeping her distance, sensible girl
