Ok..front suspension time...

Post by duzzy »

Hi all,

I know, everyone is going to tell me to send them to Roger but...I am a cheap skate.

I need new springs thats for sure (100kg rider  )

Race Tech ones seem to be the flavour. (FRSP S353495 is the one for me I think)

As for the rest I did read somewhere about grinding (the damper rod I think) and drilling an extra relief hole.

1. Does anyone have the link to that info (tha's the trouble with surfing whilst inebriated and thinking...oh yeah I'll remember that!)

2. Will this come close to new valves?

Cheers

Can't comment on these mode myself but I have ridden a standard bike that had had ohlins springs and oil done to Rogers recommendations (he really is happy to chat to you about what to do, air gap, oil amounts etc even if you're not going to be buying from him!!) The front end on that bike felt superb, much better than stock.
