Small UK Number Plates

Post by Francom82 »

Hi all

Want to fit a "Small" UK Rear plate to the bike. Anyone recommend any UK websites that can ship these at "Show Plates", that have easy to mount options.

Any examples of any UK owners with their "small" plates fitted would be cool to see, was thinking all on one line and small to tuck under the rear seat.

I know I know it's not legal, but humour me, be interested to see what some of you guys are using for your UK number plate solution if you're not running the HUGE UK legal plates.

Look forward to seeing some and any online store recommendations.

Cheers

No, you're not having a picture! But I always run one size smaller that the legal size, it's not taking the p155 so doesn't attract attention. But the reduction in drag must have saved me a gallon or two of Super over the years.

With show plates you can choose a funny strap line underneath - but don't "borrow" mine, please. Be original!

Just Google show plates.

Same as Tony, one size smaller but put the big one back on for MOT time...

''that have easy to mount options.''... Yes two screws with a nut on the back...Not exactly hard to do.
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Same here. Except I kept my original tail plastic ( not a storm) and simply swap tails.

My current MOT bloke takes pity on me, if I take the big plate with me he "remembers" it being fitted when he tests it
