does VTR1000 2001 has lambda probe?

Post by pslavkin »

Hi everyone! just a small question, a friend of mine told me that his R6 has a lambda probe on his exhaust , but I'm seeing that my vtr2001 doesn't or I couldn't found it.
Could someone confirm me that vtr2001 doesn't have lambda probe?
Cheers!

EDIT: just to mention that my bike DO has FI (fuel injection) But I'm not seeing a lambda probe anywhere.

Not as standard. They're only needed with fuel injection systems.

But I added two lambda wideband sensors in the downpipes and connected a display to show real-time air/fuel stoichiometric ratios when riding, to aid carb setup, on my tuned firestorm.

It saved the cost of repeated Dyno runs whenever I changed anything.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

The fuel-injected Varadero engines ( which are based on the same engine) will possibly have one, but I don't know for sure.

Tks guys, but just to be clear, my bike do has fuel inyection system, it's not carburated at all.
How this works without lambda probe?

Do you have an SP1 or SP2?

Has somebody fitted injection to the bike because no firestorm came with it as standard?

More likely to be an SP.

I've no idea whether a standard exhaust on an SP has a lambda sensor; mine was non-standard.
