LED LIGHTS

Post by EGG »

HI all has anyone got 1 of these LED combined stop/tail and indicators clear rear lights?
I fitted 1 today. WOW Bright is not the word.
Makes the rear end look better as well no crap indicators sticking out.
Yes i know they are not for road use but then nor's my cans, plate or visor.
Oh well i take my chances.
Oh yeah only paid £26 for it off ebay. Normal price is £58.
:P :P :P [/i]

If you lot want the LED bulbs, log on to http://www.blackbirdspares.co.uk/produc ... hting.html Half way down the page they have the push in bulbs as well as the bayonet ones. They act as running lights as well as super efficient brake lights. I have them fitted to the Bird and they are so bright that they'd take the eye out of ya. I have bought numerous items from this site and they are the dogs bajingas!

Ps, Aparently, if you are using LED's, when you brake at 70mph the driver behind registers the LED lights 16ft sooner than using a standard bulb. I know I'd prefer those odds!

It's a smashing machine all right Chris! The ammount of money they must have pumped into it! Think I'll stick with "Fairly Standard" to describe my one!

The price of the LED's are very good. They are the best 'tinterweb' shop I have ever used.

Hi everyone, newbie to the site and Firestorms. Bought one a couple of months ago after a year off after trashing my Ninja and left leg. Love the bike and am making improvements(after reading through this site) to it, (put 44 rear sprocket on (wow), Scorpion Hi-Rise cans (bigger wow)pyramid belly pan, hugger and undertray are all at the painters ) Have just bought one of these LED rear/brake/ indicator light units and I'm stumped about the connections. Anyone whose got one have any ideas. Cheers

Managed to sort the LED lights, checked the wiring diagram for the bike and with a bit of trial and error managed to match the wires to the light cluster. Much brighter than originals.
