In fact, it pissed down all the way. Only in the last 30kms did my oversuit give way and soak my trollies. Oh, and dropped the bike at 0Kmh too. Had just done a 200km run, pulled up for fuel, dead leg.. boot down, slid on very wet/oily petrol station forecourt. <bump>. Midly controlled dismount. DHM frame sliders took the weight, just the front indicator lens popped off.. Did I feel a tw@ or what.. still, bungied that back on and carried on.
Once there, the weather was superb. Blummin warm in fact, fabbo roads, no coppers and great signposting. Needless to say, much fun was had.
The ride back? Yep, pissed down again. Anyway. Knowledge gained from this mission?
Front indicators stick out too far.
Frame sliders are the puppies privates.
Crusing at 180kph does wonders for the local's petrol pump takings.
My PDA gps lashup works a treat.
Take a spare pair of trollies next time.
To round off, a pic from the week,

...and.. anyone suggest a nice set of low profile front idicators? Ones that fill up the existing fairing 'oles without any naff "universal" plating or adjusters. Ta
Trebs.
