TBH once you've stripped, cleaned and PROPERLY greased the linkages they're good for a few YEARS

The problem is they come from the factory with bugger all grease on (saves weight!!)
So do them this winter (its only an hour(ish) job unless you've left it too late)

All Sorted :D
New Alli Con Rod £116
A couple of Exhaust gaskets and Clamps plus a new Bush brought the whole price upto £194
Anyway, back on the road that all what counts :D

Tony, have another look at that fische before you drill and fit that npple of yours. There is a rod which the main bolt slides through and the grease needs to be on the outside of the rod to reach the bearings.
Hope that helps
Pete.l

P.S I've put the original pipes back on so now I'm running in silent mode. Weird!!
