Revlight thingy

Greetings all,
Just wondering if anyone on here's got one of these (I know datatool do one) and if so how does it wire in?
Would it work without the speedo/tacho connected or does it need it
to feed the signal from?

Hi Ben

Ive got one but I havent got around to connecting it up yet (actually I havent got around to asking Del to connect it up yet!!)

The destructions seem to suggest that you connect the revlight wires to the bikes wires before they go to the loom (Comment "If going to loom before plug" on fitting instructions) So I guess you wouldnt necessarily need the dash actually connected (although Im basing this on my extensive electrical experiance obtained while working in a bakery during my school holidays 16 years ago!!)

The wires listed for the Firestorm are;
Ground - Black
Tacho Pulse - Yellow/Green
Power/Ign Sense - Black/Brown

oh no,,waynes going all technical again,
i take it this advice is based on the rumor that mr honda worked at the same bakery as wayne when he was a lad
& decided to base the vtr wiring loom on the 3 pin plug design as used on the dough stirring machine

i fear it will all end in tears
