Who can install cct in Scotland?

Post by meintjiesj »

Ok, now I'm so paranoid that I bought two cct from David Silver spares including the oil seals. Problem is that when I phoned Honda in Edinburgh the guy actaully did know what the cct was on a VTR. Told me I should come in and have a look at some photos.
My question? Any good shops in Lothians/ Fife/ Glasgow area that you can recommend. Or if anyone has the time can show me how to do it. I'm not too stupid with a spanner, build a few bikes up but never been inside an engine. I'll refund your time and effort. Would like to get it done before 26th when our yearly Isle of Skey trip is. David Silver promised I'll have it next week this time.

If your happy enough to do it yourself it's not to tricky, just time consuming.

Have a search on here, theres a couple of step by step guides folk have posted.

So took the dive last night in the world of CCT and replaced them. Bike starts and no funny noises so I presume all went according to plan. Drained the oil also. Question - What oil do you use?
