Hey there. Just bought a 97 VTR.. Stonking bike, Bought it after I binned my 02 R1.. This is the first twin I have owned... and i bloody like it so far.. The thing sets of car alarms.. that can only be judged as a proper bike .. it scares children and old people. I think it sounds so much better than a 4 cylinder.
The brakes could be better.. but hey.. as my dad would say "what u using them for??! ..poof!"
Any of you lot live near Hull/Bradford?

I'm in Malton, so not too far away.

Only had mine for about 2 months, just got back from the TT with luggage & the Mrs!... was excellent over there, had a go at the Ramsey Sprint Straightliners event...

Standing start, only got time for 3 runs, best was 7.77 sec @ 98mph

Welcolm, got mine in March and finally starting to understand how to ride the thing. In near Bradford so if you fancy a meet. First Sunday every month there is a rideout with Jordan bikes in Morley, worth a go if you dont mind getting up at 7:00am.
