Jack under the engine will be fine (NB use a bit of wood to avoid damage to the sump)

AS LONG AS YOU DON'T REMOVE THE REAR WHEEL
The weight of it keeps it nice and steady (found that out the hard way!)

Top tip, loosen the pinch bolts before you take ALL the weight off the front

i hung mine from the rafters but ive also held it on the sidestand in the past whils someone chucks a couple of blocks under the sump which you can rest it back onto

I had my front forks done a couple weeks ago by Rodger and I'm still grinning. It is just starting to sink in how much more confidence I'm getting coming out of corners with a front that is stable. I rode down from Edinburgh because there is so much more than just changing the internals. Thye also setup the rear standard shock for me and that has also made a big impact. Haven't been out of the seat since then. Best money spend on the bike.
