Iffy speedo

Post by derryUK »

During a trip back home from Plymouth the speedo died as I left town. During the trip it came back to life briefly as I went up through the gears then died again.

After refueling at Wincanton it came back to life and has been ok since.

Any tips for what to check for?

Derry.

I had a similar problem a while back. All I ended up doing to resolve the prob was to remove the sender unit from the back of the engine and gave it a clean. Speedo been working perfectly ever since.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Davie.
