At Last NOISE. How a Storm should sound

Post by Fireman on a Storm »

At Last NOISE. :D

How a Storm should sound.

This afternoon I found enough time to put my old Art oval cans on the new Storm. I had managed to get them taken off the dead Storm before the insurance assessor wrote it off.

There is a scrape mark on the left link pipe, but it's underneath and you can only see it when you kneel down.
The left can has a small scrape and dent on it, but I have swapped the left and right cans over you can't see the damage at all!

At least now when commuting i have half a chance of the numpty car drivers knowing i am coming.

Proper V twin noise :D :D :D :D

Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I agree that you are going to be more noticed by other road users when you have a bit louder cans fitted, than the standard Firestorm exhausts, thats one of the main reasons I fitted Scorpion cans to my bike :!:

You know that advert where the Saab goes past and people look up because it is made to sound like a jet?

Well i live near an Army Training Area and when i'm coming people do the same cos they think it's a chinook.

I was tempted, having saved a few quid over here, to get a new GSXR 1000 K6 but i just don't think that i can live without the sound of thunder. Maybe an RSV Factory instead?? 8O

Nah! Think i'll stick with the SP1. Looks good, goes like stink, sounds like a helicopter! Awesome.

Hope you are all well anyways, back in a couple of months, it has been a bit sh1t over the last few days, quite a few incidents and regrettably a few deaths  . Can't wait to come home........
