I have a 2003 storm and the stock mufflers really sucks so I'd appreciate some advices on possible slip-on alternatives. I was thinking Yoshimura RS3, Devil SB2 or MIG + K&N filter and factory- or dynojet kit. Anyone got any experience on those or any other reasonable slip-on exhaust. What kind of hp have you got on your storms after fitting new exhaust? Yoshis RS3 is zyclone version, any idea how it sounds?
I had Devil SB2-C high mounts on mine. I liked them a lot although the can clamps were a bit cack - the little bolts holding them shut werent really upto the job and the clamps rubbed the carbon leaving it looking a bit scuffed. However, they did sound loverly - Ive moved them onto my Blackbird now (Well done Del)
Id recommend the Devils, the actual can construction quality is top notch. Just look at protecting the cans with something on the inside of the clamps and maybe look at replacing the clamp bolts.
I have a Wolf undertail right now, it kinda sucks. there isn't much foot room. But once I used a hammer to pound out the baffles, they sound great! And people seem to gather around them, so if looks count, check out Wolf. ( I don't know if they still make them though. Wolf is really hard to get here in the US of A.) I got mine from ebay.
I had Vance and Hines before that. Good pipes, not very loud though.
The Yosh Zyclone will be very, very quiet. Near stock.
The Mig looks sweet, the ultra high mounts in particular. I have seen them, and I didn't like the inlet cap on the pipes, they weren't polished. It was a shame they did that, because they look awsome otherwise. I don't know how they perform/ sound though.
I am thinking about Micron next. They seem to perform well from the dyno charts I have seen online, and they look great.
You know the Austin Powers movies? I have always wanted to date someone like Allota Fagina... but I always seem to date her sister Sandy.

Thanks guys for replying! I ordered Devil's OVO FULL POWER pipes with aluminium finish and dyno time is thursday 10th!! Also dynojet will be fitted to match the exhaust.
Have you fitted after market filters like BMC or K&N with your pipes? What kind of results have you got? The dyno guy told me that those things don't work with all bikes. For example a suzuki GSX750F (katana in us) didn't work very well with K&N filter the stock filter gave much smoother power/torque curve.
A friend of mine fitted dynojet + Yoshi RS3 race carbon and the result was 125 hp from the engine. The zyclone model of the RS3 sounds a bit lame though but the race canisters sound lovely
Devil FP OVO slip-on pipes have been fitted and jetted with dynojet!! They sound GRRREAT!!!
The best dynoresult was 109 hp from the backwheel (126hp)! The stock bike did 101.75 bhp so it was quite powerfull already. We had to adjust a little more to get smoother midrange so the final result was 107 hp from the backwheel!
