ARD Race Fairings

Post by beesfan »

Does anybody know where i could find a pic of a storm with the ARD race fairing fitted? I'm really interested in these because when i finish my rebuild i'd like to have a single round headlight instead of the standard item.

I've already contacted ARD but they were no help....

Cheers

I'm guessing its just gonna be a standard Firestorm race fairing

In which case it could look like this (if you so wish!)

It looks like a standard lever snapped in half. :D

I take it that's your bike then?

Could you give me some more info on the top fairing and the lower on the bike in the second pic? What make, where you got it etc....

It look's very nice and with the paint job i'm after i think it will look mental.

Alan,
It WAS a standard lever but personalised
I broke my scaphoid a while ago (bloody dirt bikes!) and ever since then it gives me grief if I'm stretching my thumb. Therefore I have the brake lever set on its absolute minimum so its as close to the bar as possible
However, as I only brake using 2 fingers it was trapping my other 2 fingers
I looked into one of those stubby brake levers but they wanted silly money
So I heated it up, bent it and then cut the end off just after the bend
Job done FOC

Beesfan,
Its a skidmarx race top fairing and I think the bellypan is a pyramid plastics unit
If you're interested its currently sat in the back of my garage gathering dust
PM me your email addy and I can send you some pics

I could lie and say its for the stand up wheelies 8)

But in reality its primarily to protect the cans and also to give me somewhere to bungee the tailpack to
