Polished Headers (Whose are these?)

Post by beesfan »

Just a quick one, i've been browsing the gallery and come accross these.

http://www.vtr1000.org/cpg/albums/userp ... lished.jpg

They look like standard items just polished up, who do they belong to because i've got a few questions.

Cheers

I've just emailed you Chris, it would have probably been easier to pm you on here but nevermind...

I know it's a pain in the butt but could you post a pic up of what they look like now after a bit of riding?

I'm very tempted to do mine as i think it will brilliant and can't afford a full system at the moment :D

As i think I said in the original link Bob (OldBob) posted above I don't ride in the rain anymore if I can help it, and to be honest the pipes look the same as the pictures in that link, after the 35 mile ride that is, they have not changed from when I did them back in the summer :!:

I think members from here who have polished their pipes and ride all year round said that a wipe over with WD40 on a rag will help to keep them looking good :!:

I was just asking what condition his downpipes were in when he started and what polishing discs he used.... Nothing exciting :-P

I've finished building my garage now so will hopefully get started on mine this weekend.... :D
