Sounds like the mixture may be too weak now there is more air getting through than the standard filter.

Have you tried putting the standard filter back in to see if it runs ok?

I'm no mechanic but a K&N and no rejetting means more air flow and not enough fuel

Lift the tank back up and put the thinner hose back on the correct bit of the fuel tap. Theres 2 places it can go, bet you've put it on the wrong one.

fuel hose

Post by alan »

If im not mistaken there is 5 hoses to be connected 3 on the right side and 2 on left.

on the right side 2 thick hoses then there is a hose with like a white nozzle in the end i think that connects to the underside of tank i say think because im about to reconnect all mine and was unsure about the line with the white nozzle in the end.

on the left side there is a thin hose and thick hose but you need to put the thin hose on the correct inlet its quite easily put on the wrong one as there is 2 places it would fit

hope all this makes sense

Not sure if this will work. I've uploaded an exploded view of the fuel system. It shows the hoses but but not where they connect to.
