hi,
my battery in my bike at the moment is rated at 10ah. wanting/needing to move the battery i was wondering if i could fit a 7.5ah one.
its used for starting rc models and is nice and small and would be perfect for what im after. as it would only be 2.5ah less than the one i have at the moment i was hoping it will be ok to use?
thanks
mark (yes i know the user name is silly) lol

Hi Mark
As long as it is 12volts you would have some success -in theory .But a lower capacity (7.5 amps) and the fact it isn't designed for a motorcycle could limit the life and effectiveness . Try setting it up in a trial first for example check how it does feeding headlights indicators/horn at the same time etc without the engine running, to put it under load etc ,possibly the main problem will be cranking a cold engine ,but hey give it a go m8 but be careful......heath robinson efforts are a bit trial and error
