Hope someone can help me. I have a 98 Firestorm and have done about 8000 miles in the last year. It never felt smooth on the clutch and it got worse over time. Last weekend I decided to strip the clutch and found it completely dry on the inside, the plates look like they have been hot. I suspect that there is an oil flow problem to the clutch (there was oil on the camshafts when I checked the valve clearance a few months ago). Anyone experienced the same problem? Any advice?
Cheers

Well at the moment there is no oil in the engine. I check the oil on a regular basis, also the clutch does not seem to hang in the oil. What i meant with the camshaft were oily is that I don't think there is an oil pressure issue.
I think this might just be a freak occurance in a normally bullet proof honda engine.
Maybe someone out there has an oil diagram so I can see where it might be blocked.
by the way I have a TDM as well so also 4 cylinders and 18 valves

Do the clutch plates look like they were ever in oil?by the way I have a TDM as well so also 4 cylinders and 18 valves
