Does anyone know what the letters on a headlight bulb mean...o dear that makes me sound like i don't know what i'm doing....hmm
I've just checked my Super Tenere...should be in the hall of shame and it's running 12V 60/55W bulbs and the manual says that it should be running 12V 35/35W bulbs.
Could this be enough to drain the battery over a period of say 6 - 8 weeks?

Yep!
And nope!
If the charging system is ok then running the bike should stop the bulbs flattening the battery
However, if you only do short runs it might not get properly topped up each time
The numbers mean 35Watt dipped beam & 35Watt main beam
The other one has a 55W dipped beam and a 60W main beam
