how does this thing fit on and does the seat need to come off.
how do i get the seat off , aaghhhhh :x

Yes, seat needs to come off. Turn key in lock at the tail light with one hand whilst pulling the rear of the seat back and up with the other hand. They can be a real pig sometimes. When the seat is off you'll see how the cover is held on.

Cupasoop.
My seat needs a good thump back with the flat of my hand after pulling the rear bit up to release it. If it isn't like this then the tail cover looks out of line.

I found that a little tweak of the clippy things on the bike that keep the seat hooked on made it easy as pie to get the seat on & off. Can't remember if it was forward or back, but worked a treat.
If you ate yourself would you become twice as big or simply disappear?

Sorted , honda were having a bad day when they came up with that seat lock idea :lol:

i have found the best way is to turn key in lock and lift back of seat.....then thumbs on tank with fingers under front of seat and push back

works every time : )
