Hi all,

I've just got a really good deal on some Avon AV35/36's.

Has anyone ever tried them and if so are they of any use

I've got D204's on there at the moment and they're ok for me, although they don't exactly last .

I would like 010's but not at the price they are

I have got the 012s (010 replacement)
After the 204s it made the Storm feel like a new bike.
I think the 204 are hard and don't grip now I have done 2k on the 012s

Yup i use AV35/36's last well, fair amount of grip, not had any scares with them at all, although they are not that good in the wet. Bloody cheap though 100 squid for 2 backs and 1 front

I bought the latest AV49/50 SP for £159 + fitting.

The rear only lasted 1900 miles and didn't include a track day.

I bought a second rear for £100 incl. fittting.

This one has just done a track day at Mallory and it let go around Gerrards. A high side was avoided with lots of flying legs but it has dented my confidence with the Avon.

I think the 010 is probably a better buy overall . they should last longer and inspire greater confidence

I ordered a 1 front and 1 rear off the internet from a well known tyre supplier (T*T), when the package arrived I recieved 2 rears and 1 front, only invoiced for £100.

Called them and they couldn't be bothered picking it up, there normal price for 3 is £169. maybe worth a try ordering 2 again.
