I have a pretty unworn Battleaxe BT010 on the front and a worn BT020 rear (180/55ZR17).
I need to replace that rear. Another one the same or what have you found that does it for you? NOT Michelin as I have bad memories and won't go that route whatever is on offer!!
Rather have grip than longevity as the bike is a w/e toy not a work bike!!!

just fitted the BT014, back & front, seem to be fine, warm up quick & handles great, son has them fitted to his Kawasaki 400 zr & again very good grip in the dry & wet.

Lotus,

I bought the SP with BT014s on it and replaced them with the same. Grip is very good indeed. Trouble is the rear lasts 100s rther than 1000s of miles. I'd like to try the BT020 on the rear.

How do you find the BT020 on yours??
She's my idea of beauty and thats what I ride.

JagL
Well my BT020 is rather/very flat centred as the guy before me toured a lot (and must have liked garage forecourts too then). It doesn't inspire me a lot at the moment, as it is hard to get it to smoothly ride around a bend without it trying to fall over with a nudge as you lean in hence the posting.

Avon AV45/46's

Run them for last 30,000 miles. Rears last 6-7,000 miles - about £130 pair. Bargain. I chicken out before they do.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

i am really very happy with my maxxis supermaxx tyres. very grippy and last a good while

im definately getting another set of these beauties

must highly recommend them to anyone considering cheap (excellent quality) alternatives to the £160 brand names that have a tyre or 2 attached

there they are

very cheap and really a very good tyre

maxxis make tyres for everything from pushbikes, bmxs, go karts, golf trolleys, motards, and race bikes

ive never felt them squirm and slip like decent brands budget varients
