Hey guys...Actually got a pretty dumb question..Can anyone tell me brand the carbs are? Mikuni or Keihin? I'm at work and I wanna get the jets ordered so I can get it in tommorow...
And the other question is...Does anyone have any reccomendations on jetting? I'm running a custom pod filter setup and custom 2 into 1 exhaust..I'll try to post pics of it later when I work on the carbs..Basically the problem is when I hit about 6k engine misfires and doesn't go anywhere..I assume its running lean and is starving for fuel..Any suggestions?
Btw, stock US California specs are 175/178 in case their different
Oh and I also have the needle set at it's richest setting..If I put new main jets should I adjust it to another setting?

Rich.

Will definitely check on that one!
So basically if I have the vacuum hose hooked up to the wrong connection, the bike will still run but just not well when it needs more fuel? Cause I've ran the bike for a couple of 50 mile trips with the hose hooked up the same way and it never died out...Actually on that ride the bike actually revved all the way up top fine, just had a lurch at 4-5rpm..But this couldn've been because my pod filter adapter was covering my air jets causing my bike to rich...

Ok so I hooked up the vacuum hose to the right one and turns out, much to my dismay, that it wasn't the problem...Bike still hits a flat spot at about 6k and runs really rough and doesn't want to accelerate...
Looked at my carbs as well and they are keihin fyi...So I'll be working on my jetting and hopefully I get this all sorted out..Thanks..
Also if anyone is running pod filters and a 2 into 1 exhaust let me know if you have any pointers...
