On the basis that the stock VTR calipers bolt straight on to '98 blade legs, its a fair bet that those calipers would bolt straight onto VTR legs!

Dunno about later calipers, which ones are you looking at?
I've got an inferiority complex
But its not a very good one!

What calipers have you got mate?

Cant see a straight swap from VTR 4 pots to blade 4 pots making that much difference on its own
Unless the VTR ones had sticking pistons, or different pads

But I'm always prepared to be proved wrong
Pics please

well these things i noticed

vtr calipers pistons are smaller - 2 sizes (smaller and tiny)

the castings on the blade calipers are much more beefy

and the pistons are bigger and of uniform size.

Bite they do and do it well ill get some pics up asap

Not sure if they are identical to the Blade's but I now have a front set-up from a SP (not sure if 1 or 2 as parts were bought separately) but all I can say is WOW!!!! I ran last summer with the MC from a SP (believe it was 19mm diameter) and addition of the calipers brought everythign up a couple of notches (already had steel lines, and am using EBC HH pads). I am VERY happy with this new set-up (HIGHLY recommended!!!!).
