Card fraud

Post by storminateacup »

Tried to buy a pair of boots from a site called webbsoflincoln when a week later they hadn't arrived, phoned up, guy said "oh been on holiday and nobody checked the website" "sorry there out of stock" OK I said cancel please. "Sure" I'll delete it as we haven't put it through yet. few days later my card gets used all over the web. Now this card hasn't been used over the net for a year before, so either their web site is insecure or someone is at it............ I am running all kinds of firewalls and have no probs with this PC and other cards so BEWARE.
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

The section where you enter personal details and card details is not secure.
Enough said, look for the secure symbol.

Get in Touch with the guys at Webbs, I have done alot of business with them over the years and found them to be very good, if you talk to them I'm sure that they will take notice of what your saying.
"Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut."
