I think my hugger is a NWS one but I'm not sure how it fits on as it came with the bike when I got it and i've never taken it off.
Will have a look tomorrow and post.

Hi Balls.
does it have a long bit which goes down to protect the bottom of the shocker/suspension link from tyre splash. Mine does on the SP. I can post a pic if it's any help.

Not 100% sure about the NWS hugger, but they are all very much the same. You will need to remove the original chain guard, then use the two bolts that hold the original chain guard in place. On the other side the bolt or screw that holds the rear brake hose clamp in place is used, and on some makes a metal bracket is provided that picks up on another bolt or screw further along the swingarm as well

Checked mine tonight and what sirch345 says is correct. Only 3 bolts but there is no extra bracket that I can see.

Not sure what make mine is (picked it up from fleabay a few years ago). It's Carbon fibre and that's all I know about it as it has no stickers or owt on it

Although it uses a couple of the same bolts that hold the chain guard on, it fits over original chainguard.
I removed chainguard at first but then realised it looked stupid and would fit over it - so it was replaced.

Also as Chris says, uses at least one of the brake tube clamp screws.

Didn't get any fitting instructions - just trial and erorr - I suppose there's a few different designs out there.

Someone has just brought to my attention that not all realise that the standard Firestorm shock protector (that black oblong shaped piece of plastic) has to be removed before fitting an after market rear hugger
