Anyone used it, found a difference?
I headed off for a bit of fun Saturday and filled up with a tank to try it out.
A hundred and forty miles later with grinning face and aching wrists I came home and no sign of the little red light. Next Tuesday I'm back on the bike and toddle off to work and still no sign of the little red light.
On the way home it finally comes on for half a second after a long deceleration and then flickers back off again. I've got 156 on the trip meter and due to rain stopping play I haven't been out to "fill up" and I reckon as it was just the flicker of a light I've still got a good 20 to 30 miles in the tanks before I run out.
Best I've ever had so far is about 145 miles. Anyone else tried it?

P.S Half a tank also stopped my 12 year old Rover from pinking under load

I have been using "Super" type fuel in both bikes and in the car and they all seem to run better for it.

I've been trying BP Ultimate Unleaded in the bike and can't say I've noticed any improvement, but that might be just coz I is old and scared :)

Also been using Ultimate Diesel in my Xantia TD and the difference is amazing, smoother, enough extra torque to make accidental wheelspin a problem IN THE DRY!!!, much less black smoke when I "boot" it and nearly enough extra mpg to pay the price premium. The car now feels seriously undergeared, pity I can't just change the chain and sprockets.

Don't be cheeky 8O

No it wasn't raining, but a good thought. Rainy days do give you better combustion and hence better mileage.

Cupas right. Total garage

Cheers Bud, that gave me a good read.

Yes, about £1.02 around here.

Goffy
Haven't tried the diesel yet (wifes car) but it certainly got rid of a pinking issue in my old Rover when fully loaded.

I've had a chance to fill up now and work out the MPG
48.5 mpg
Pence per liter it's still cheeper to put regular/premium unleaded in the bike but if you're after a few extra miles before the next fill up it's easier paying a few extra pence on a tank than pushing your bike to the nearest station
