CCT's clear instructions

Post by chaz »

OK, Ill admit Ive read most of the posts on CCT's.
I think now Im going to have to do mine.

Is it possible to get some clear advice / method locked up on the forum on how to do it without having to read through everyone elses comments.

may need someone who has done it to sit down and sift through, that way the instructions can be printed off and pinned up for reference.

also can I just get away with a spring change or do I need to replace everything. did email dave for springs but not heard back.

its a 97 storm with a twitter sound comming from the motor, 32,000 on the clock and funds are not that good, ever.

I'd recommend http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/ (but check with him first to make sure they're in stock) he'll be the cheapest for new CCT's :!:

presume the tensioner blade is what the tensioner fits against, that presumably means a head off?

looks as if I have to order a pair with gaskets then

i think the blade is the part that pushes against the chain and the CCT pushes aginst the blade
