Re: From 107 to 128
When Nick is in a better frame of mind I have suggested that he brings the whole bike to me and I will try and resolve the issues sympathetically for him. I am sure his spirits will rise given time.

Re: RIP Fausto GRESINI
So very sad. I spent a lot of time with Fausto and the team when they ran Tony Elias on the Moriwaki Moto2 bike taking it to win the championship. He was a great racing world champion and excellent team manager. He will be hugely missed. RIP my friend.

Great to see the "old girl" surviving and going to see the track again. Enjoy every minute.

Re: Poor handling
At Revolution Racing I can cure all the well known handling issues of the Firestorm. Unless the forks have already been "tuned" you must remove the slot plates on top of the rear damper. If you wish to discuss your suspension in more detail please contact me by email on roger AT revolution...

MISSING PERSON?
Hi Guys, I am trying to locate a VTR owner called Del Page from Norfolk but he is not responding to emails and I do not have a telephone contact number. I know he was going on holiday in early September and I am becoming concerned for his wellbeing as he has always responded promptly in the past. An...

Re: Hi from Melbourne
Hi Gary If you would like to email me at roger@revolutionuk.co.uk I will send you all the information you need to sort out your forks. As a further backup my son who raced the Revolution Racing Moriwaki VTRs in British Superbikes now lives in Aspendale Gardens near Mordialloc and would be happy to h...

Is that a genuine Moriwaki lower cowling (belly pan) or a copy?

Re: Known Cam Specs
I have always tried to help members of this Forum wherever possible often above and beyond the requested level. It is clear that Ace has absolutely no idea what integrity and ethics means to the Japanese people. I value my reputation in Japan that has been built up over forty years and I am the UK I...

Re: Known Cam Specs
I have all the numbers and dyno charts for scores of development steps right through to the final raced bikes of ST2 and ST3 as well as the development of ST1. As this development work was sponsored by HRC and Moriwaki all the details were returned to them as we progressed and it would be unethical ...

Re: Known Cam Specs
I completely agree with Tony. It would be helpful to members to have a BHP increase for various levels of tune but in practice it is impossible and therefore a chart becomes meaningless. The development programme of the VTR1000f by Revolution Racing in 1997/98 was sponsored partially by HRC, Moriwak...

Re: Known Cam Specs
I am unsure what this exercise is trying to achieve. All aftermarket cams are run in conjunction with a whole variety of other mods such as P&G and/or skimmed heads, OEM air box mods and/or alternative boxes, different air filters, different jet kits, different exhaust combinations and many many...

Re: Known Cam Specs
The Kent re-profiled cam quoted figures are for HON21 profile which is used on SPs/RC51 not VTR1000F. The VTR1000F profile is HON19 which is obviously different.
