In "Outbox" ???

Guys Not sure if I'm being dull here but..... When I send a PM, most of the times the message seems to sit in Outbox, showing Outbox(1) - which to me shows it hasn't been sent?? Could anybody please advise me if this means it has gone or not, as when I look in sent items, the message doesn't appear....

Re: Helmet

Bit the bullet and bought my new helmet today - a good price so I paid a bit more than expected but I got a lot of helmet for it. I got a Shark RSR2 Carbon in Indy Back/Silver. They seem to be well respected, a few years old now but nice and light and good ventilation. Looking forward to using it!! ...

Re: CCTs

After much thinking and advice (from you guys and my bro in law), I have gone for the option to swap to manuals asap. I have contacted Bazza, he seems ace, can get them for a week or two, but also contacted Mark Krieger: http://www.kriegercamchaintensioners.com/ who is also ace. He is sending them t...

Re: Digital/Analogue Clock?

Thanks for ideas Benny, Furry and Mattster!! Benny, had a look and these seem lovely - the ones I found seemed to describe being a gear position ind and volt meter but no mention of clock? Not sure, but these were coming in at about £75 - bit pricey for what I wanted!! Furry, your option sounds, li...

Digital/Analogue Clock?

Hi, Although I'm still unable to ride her, I'm looking over my VTR whilst it sits in the garage and thinking what do I need to do to improve it.

One thing I do need is a clock. Does anybody know of any nice ways of having a clock whether digi or analogue, in the cockpit of the VTR?

The Marushin RS1 does look good. I'm struggling to find one at the cheaper price in a large size?

Re: CCTs

All,Klx After I looked earlier, the new CCTs are, as feared the auto ones. I will get in touch with KLX by email and also get advice off Bazza to see what he has. Bugger! There is now that doubt of how long it will be until it gives me problems. Good thing is I can't ride for at least another 6 week...

Re: CCTs

Ta, can't wait to look! I'm starting to fear the worst so starting to get prices: Trying to look on overstockpartsgalore.com site over in Florida (everyone seems to rave about thus company)- not much luck with the searching on the site? Seen else where on the site (UK) recommended above and they lis...

Re: CCTs

Kev, I'm slowly getting it!! I now understand why they need replacing with manual ones (this takes away the internal spring supposedly auto adjusting but doesn't when rusty?). My misunderstanding that remains is: my paperwork (invoice) says it had CCTs replaced 4800 miles ago and as it's a new bike ...

Re: CCTs

Kev. Is there a mileage that they should be changed at? Because they were changed at 16000 does that not keep me safe? I'm not disagreeing with you (I have no reason or experience to) but don't understand? Am I being dull? How long will manual ones last if I have them fitted or had them fitted at 16...

CCTs

I know these are an emotive subject (I'm new to this game but still I have picked up the 'tension' (pardon the pun) that these CCTs need consideration). It's a new bike to me and the last service (4800 miles/2.5 years! ago) shows that the CCTs were changed at 16000- the bike has now obviously done 2...
