unlucky mate!
had a fractured butt meself a few years ago when some clever bugger dismantling a tower scaffold took the wrong piece out & he & it toppled over onto me :whatever
about 8 weeks recovery, maybe 4 of them on crutches depending on the aligment of the fracture.

huh??? :roll: up & down, i do it all the time.... doesnt lock the wheel up at all unless youre daft enough to drop 3 into 1st on a wet road! it does wreck the box tho... eventually thats interesting. was surmising (hence the "maybe"), having never tried a clutchless change either up or down but ...

prefer a balaclava meself, cuts out just enough noise to protect my ears but not enough to remove what is an essential safety feature :)

aye chins up fellas, as long as you can see the bike in the garage yer not far away from chucking yer leg over it. been reg disabled meself 18 months now courtesy of smoking related lung damage & withered down to under 7 stone with associated depression. I'd have given up if I didn't have the bike ...
