Thanks guys, i will watch my fuel but i think i should be ok, i might be at the bridge on Sunday look out for a yellow Storm with Microns, oh it has the white bit on the front and back too. My first biking weekend!
Well the VTR is sorted the timing was out and one of the chains jumped a tooth but no damage was done. I am going to be doing about 800 miles this weekend so has anyone got any advice on my first time or anything tyo look out for on the vtr, i hope the weather is ok i will be around the lakes and ...

Well he is a bike mechanic, he works for aprillia, he has never done a vtr but i gave him the haynes but he still managed to go wrong, he has admited it is his mistake he was just doing it as a mate but i think he regrets it now, Is he right with them prices, it can not cos that much. I need help ...

Ok update, he has just rang me and said that he is going to need to get the timing sorted out on it because he messed it up when he taken out the CCT's, which is going to cost £250 just to get right without changing anything which he said he will pay but he said if any damage has been done to the e ...

Ok here i am again mr paranoid!! when ever i pull in the clutch when the engine is hot i get a really loud whirling noise, i can here it over my Microns, thats how loud, i thought it could have been the fan at first but not too sure now, do VTR's usually have noisey whirling gea boxs!!

Thanks for all the help, it did make the whirling noise when the engine was cold so it could have been that. I have turned them back and one has pulled back inside but the other one wont turn like it is jammed open, ANY IDEAS?. Sorry for the questions i am sure every time a new guy comes on here you ...

Thanks now i see what you mean but i still have a problem. I have already pulled one of the tabs out and it has sprung out?? Is this a major problem?? Just got some new CCT's
Just got two new CCT's that are brand new but the bit that sticks out of the end is fully pushed in with the little point bit sticking out of the end, is there a way two get it out or is this just normal? Can they be pushed in by hand or what i have never seen one before but this looks like to me ...
