thanks for the recommendation, I now think they need more than a polish, i dont have anything to try but I would like to know if anyone has had success cleaning these up.agentpineapple wrote:mothers metal polish is good, might be worth a try

No, it's not the one with plastic ruducer as your call it. I think that plastic has either some kind of Venturi effect or is a one way valve. Just an idea! Cheers Chris, good start! lol. ok no tap as such as its a later model but i guess its the one ive just freed up and pulled out to the right, sorry left of the frame, makes sense no i see it as its really narrow diam.

I just read how to ballance the carbs in the knowledge section then started to strip the bike, could anyone please tell me which of the two tubes is the one i need to T into?
