Re: 2004 SP-2

The first SP-2 I had was a 2006 all black example. It was nice, but the painted frame and swingarm don't look nearly as good as the brushed alloy, and it's more prone to marks too. This colour scheme was a 'grower' for me, but is now a clear favorite. The white is nice, but doesn't look quite as pre...

Re: 2004 SP-2

Thanks gents. Looks sweet, can I ask how much you paid? I'd rather not be specific, but I had to pay top money for it. I think we're now at the point where very low mileage, immaculate examples are selling around or above the original RRP, and I think it won't be long before they exceed the RRP of c...

2004 SP-2

This is my sixth VTR! Two Firestorms, two SP-1s and one SP-2 before this (not in that order). http://s16.postimg.org/upn7ojn1x/Garage.jpg UK bike, 2004, a genuine 3000 miles, completely standard (except for the seat pad). Not a mark on it. The best colours IMO (especially with the silver frame). I'm...

Re: Anyone live near Radcliffe, Manchester?

Bit late to the topic but I visited Speedwell at the weekend to look at the other SP-2 they have, and had a look at this whilst I was there. The bike looks fairly clean underneath, and the mileage is believable (although it's probably seen fairly hard miles). The bodywork is fibreglass, and reasonab...

Re: The Twins

Very nice but how do you choose It's difficult. The SP eclipses the Firestorm for speed and handling, but requires commitment and isn't much fun in the wet. The Firestorm is much more versatile and is still sporty enough to have some fun. So it depends how I feel, what the weather is like, and wher...

The Twins

Hi all, I signed up a couple of years back, and considering I've just bought a Firestorm, it's about time I said hello. I know Kev and knew Martin (Benny) from NWB, and probably saw many of you at the funeral. Current bikes: A fairly tidy '98 storm: http://p1.bikepics.com/2014/05/13/bikepics-2668247...

Re: Arata High Level Exhaust Project Sp to Storm conversion

Hi Carl, Got your eBay mail with the link - thanks! I've actually frequented this forum from time to time over the years, and registered recently. For everyone else's information, I was the previous owner and had these on an SP-2. Great job you've done of cleaning the cans up (something I admit I wa...
