Re: Decent MPG on a 'Storm!
So I have a 14t front sprocket and a standard rear, My light came on yesterday at 110 miles..... Does the sprocket change mean I got more or less miles then the reading of 110? Just curious  Depends what the standard is - can't remember - not sure I ever knew! If you have more teeth on the...

Re: Decent MPG on a 'Storm!
Well my vaguely economical week of riding too and from work, with a couple of damp rides home in the evening, but some rather nice dry runs in in the morning (nothing too silly - honest) resulted in 110 miles and 13.5 litre fill up. So 37 MPG. Nothing astonishing either way.

Looking good there Steve.
Today I just rode mine until the rain ruined the fun.
Then big yellow had a friend over for a play-date

Not a problem mate.
It's going to be musical knowledge, mine's hopefully going to get some CCTs. I might have a play with the TPS whilst the tank is off (and I have my meter).

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Marty, you have to see it to believe. Did a wet lap yesterday at very sensible speeds and only a few people out there, but had a full sunshine run today and I can now understand the addiction. Redline in 1st to 5th and holding it to the stop in 6th flying along the ribbon of tar clinging to the sid...

Nice  I never got into that off-road stuff, I feel I've missed out though! You haven't lived until you've fallen off a high revving unsilenced 250 two stroke, ended up at the bottom of a goo filled ditch with the bike laying on top of you and thought "How the hell did that happen?&quo...

Re: STOLEN BLACK/YELLOW VTR1000F FIRESTORM ESSEX CM22
You'll have difficulty beating the build quality of the Honda. If you liked the VTR, why not get another? I know what you mean about the Triumph. I rode a Speed Four review bike (friend wrote for bike mag), and whilst it had great pick up (compared to my carbed CBR6) and was a blast to ride, the bui...

Re: GRAINSTORM....2012 Workshopday. 16th June
I'm up for the Brentwood meet. I assume it's at the petrol station at the bottom of Brook Street, M25 J28 A12 junction? Then we can roll on to meet the boys from East Lunden at Lake side (assuming I don't get lost on all those f*cking roundabouts down there again!). I get the feeling that I'll be br...
