Bazza's converted CCT's (to manuals) are £35, others charge more, up to £60/70 I believe. Modifying standard ones to stoppers so that they can still fail but not catastrophically is effectively free, but due to the work involved it's really in my opinion only worth doing to new ones. ahh, thanks guys Its a private sale so no salesman speech to worry about......the bikes a '98 with 23k miles and looks clean in the pictures and talking to owner its a clean bike. Whats the cost implications to the cct change or mod? this isnt my main bike so cost is an issue or i could find myself ...

Im on the verge of buying another storm after a year selling my last one. I was wondering about the CCT's, is there a general mileage that these have a higher risk of giving up the ghost at? and is there anybody local to me that could help me do the required mod or replacement of them. free tea ...
