Re: So I've got a second interview...
Good luck, be positive, think before you answer if it's a tricky question and all the usual stuff be clean, prompt, smartly dressed and you will get the job. If it's at this stage it's probably just to get the other director to rubber stamp it.

Re: is it my imagination?
It may sound daft to suggest this after having new tyres recently but are they inflated to the correct cold pressures? It is very important with bikes that they are as it can make a big difference, I have found some tyres being more "fussy" than others, check the pressures. As you have had...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Love the look of your blade but I can't get on with them, I had a new blade in 2005 and it just killed my back and neck so much so I got rid of it when it was just 3 weeks old. I personally find Gixxers are more comfortable, had a few 750's and ridden a 600 and they are much better on the back, wris...

Another thumbs up for paraffin and a paintbrush works well and doesn't damage O rings. Comes up lovely and clean.

Re: East Midlands Superbike
I would try and look at EMS Seb, his bikes are all clean and tidy whenever I have been in there, no dogs. I sell tiles, bathroom suites, mirrors, coloured glass, mainly tiles
Phil (EMS) has had tiles for 3 or 4 rooms from me over the last 5 years or so.

Re: Airbox backfire.
Yes good point Carl, so really this weather is the leanest the air fuel ratio can get, once it warms up a bit in theory the mixture will richen.

Re: East Midlands Superbike
With stuff I sell :) He has bought from me several times and he has always been decent and straight and paid up without any fuss. Its a good sign that he will be good to buy from too :) We shut on bank holiday Monday, we opened good Friday, as a small business I get bugger all time off so I shut, if...

Re: East Midlands Superbike
Yes I am sure they are shut, they are only a few miles from me, I would offer to have a look for you but you need to look yourself, they usually have clean bikes there so chances are it will be ok, I have supplied Phil who owns it and I have dealt with him a few times and he has always been a good g...

Feedback after TPS and longer velocity stack on front
I finished a little work on my storm and took it for ride this morning to see what the bike rides like now. I set the TPS to 500 ohms, adjusted the throttle cables, fitted a long inlet trumpet / velocity stack to the front carb, , fitted a new genuine air filter and iridium spark plugs then took it ...

Re: to claim or not?
I personally would not make a claim but make sure its in the accident book and if you need to have time off sick take it. Just my opinion, others may have a different idea but given what you have said thats what I would do.
