TPS
I did the TPS adjustment yesterday and took the bike out for a ride today. I managed to get the sensor adjusted to 503 and left it there. There is a real difference! 1st gear, no throttle, it runs at idle speed without hiccuping or chugging! It pulls from a dead stop very smooth and even through 2nd...

timing hole plug
hello all, and a good day to yer! I just got my amazing timing hole plugs in the mail today! Superb craftmanship! Here in the states, I'll have the only set and that will help make this ride my own! I am very happy with how fast they arrived and how well they are made. Thank you, gl_s_r! I wish I co...

Re: M61 Police chase?
at the time I was on a BMW but at those speeds I almost ran out of petrol before each stop. The road is very long and straight, so straight you could put your feet up on the bars and take a nap! Also, very hot out there so going fast just to get out of that place. That jet was more than likely an F-...

Re: M61 Police chase?
you hardly ever see any police on the roads around Rye here's one for you, my other half has a discovery, she parked it out side my back garden and the next door neighbour reversed into it. came and apologised and offered to pay for the repays. it actually turns out, I know this from phoning the po...

Re: M61 Police chase?
Haven't had the chopper, but some years ago did get the fast jets out of RAF Valley playing lets scare the cr@p out of the bloke in the Jag! They popped over a hill and flew towards me at speed and at low level, then tried different angles for a while and cleared off. It was like having my own air ...

Re: new to your forum
thank you all for the great welcome! I've been bitten bad by this bike! I'm preparing to do the CCT's as soon as possible. The bike is more or less new but I don't trust the stock CCT's. Part of that upgrade may cost me the timing hole plug and alternator plug. I noticed that gl_s_r was making and s...

new to your forum
hello, I am new to this forum. I've had my 2002 VTR for about a month now and am totally getting into it! I bought the bike from the first owner who bought it new, put on 15750 mi, never changed any of the factory settings, installed a Sargent seat and gel handle grips but nothing else. The PO sold ...
