Re: If you could only ride one bike, money no object...

I can think of many I would like to try but to narrow it down I'd have to go for a new out the crate RC30 or perhaps a Laverda Jota seeing as it was one of them that got me started on the whole biking thing

Re: I'm back.......briefly

I have a Harley and a Firestorm, wouldnt part with either. Sorry dont mean to be snobby, I have had loads of cruisers in the past and to be honest the Japanesse cruisers just doesnt stir my soul like a Harley does, or wind me up and break down ( it isn't that bad ) . I just done the Rally at ...

Re: insurance

Being an old git (Mid 40's) has its advantages - Last Year Carole Nash did me fully comp (6yrs NCB, no points) for £100. Not had the renewal yet. Whats struck me as odd though is that the new bike (650 crusier) is worth similar money and is something like Group 8 instead of Group 13 or whatever the ...

Re: Paddock Stand?

Well I cant speak for others experiences but I picked up a cheapy at the bike show (£25 iirc) and never had any issues with it - I use an offcut of decking to stand the bike on (makes it a bit more vertical but not too much to make it wobbly) then straight up on the paddock stand  It is ...

 Dont really fit the MC mould either tbh....bit too much commitment - used to do the rallies when I was younger though, Kent Custom / Rock n Blues / Bulldog along with smaller MCC ones. If you've never been to one it should be on your bucket list

Re: bands - forgotten how good

Pretty varied tastes here - From popular classical to thrash with plenty of Blues, Classic rock in between. Always Rock as first choice though.....Went to see W.A.S.P last week at Rock City with my eldest daughter as she seems to be following in my footsteps  . Last time I'd seen them was at ...

Re: I'm back.......briefly

Don't worry about useful, none of the rest of us do! How long have you been a member on here in your previous incarnation? Well I've had the Storm for about 6 yrs and pretty much joined on here straight away - was never a prolific poster but nor just a lurker - pretty much middle of the road I ...

I'm back.......briefly

Haven't been on here for some time - not least because i havent been riding the Storm as much lately.... I was originally just Wildfre but forgetting my password  allied with an out of date e mail address rendered my old account inaccessible, hence the Mk2  Anyway - my next post will be ...
