Re work front end springs,oil and bearings get some bar risers,then its definitely finished.
engine rebuild and tart up on rs125 and cb750 café project,going to be a busy one.
oh and try to get past 50 posts.

Took the rear shock and link off, still wasn't happy with handling in turns,new front tyre improved things a bit,slight graunch in one of the bearings so ill change them over the winter,just cleaned and greased them for the moment. slipped in a couple of washers to the shock I have a 6mm spacer but ...

Did mine the other week and measured chain tension before I carried out the mod was around 5 mm,fitted inserts and rechecked the tensioner with screwdriver. was just over quarter turn,rechecked the chain tension and got 5mm movement in chain,probably over the top but I like things to be correct when...

its a 2000 model storm,first step ive disconnected battery, wont be using bike until weekend so ill see what happens then,
only thing I did differently from normal was to reset trip on the move, maybe it was affected by resetting while receiving a speed signal

Another massive workshop day to cure the rough running,stopper mod,tps reset 840 ohms-500 and carb balance,
running sweet now just the odo to cure

Took an exploratory look into as why it was running poorly on sunday run,seemed slightly down on power,harsh on acceleration engine note noisier so took a read through forum last night for worst case scenarios first stop front bank trying to size up socket to fit plug,17mm nah, thought it was too bi...

Mot'd yesterday 2 advisories so happy about that,club run today 250 miles on trip meter tho everyone else did 170

Rode it 100 miles on our local easter egg run was a good test of the raised bars and shorty levers,
big improvement on the standard set up.

Fitted carbon effect heel guards,raised the clip ons followed by a good clean in prep for tomorrows easter egg run,
decided to run it to try out the new bar position,seems improved will get a better idea tomorrow,
then had to clean it again
